SC Toronto U21 player, Briththeka Ingaramoorthy, kicks off our new Soccer Training at Home series with an intense ball mastery routine. This is Part 1 of our series, and it's packed with essential dribbling exercises for players of all levels. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, follow along with Briththeka and master this routine from the comfort of your home.

Ball Mastery Routine

  1. Stepovers / Scissors Start by practicing quick stepovers to fake out defenders and build agility.
  2. Crossovers Work on smooth crossovers to improve ball control and change direction swiftly.
  3. Tik Tok Touches Focus on alternating touches with both feet to enhance your footwork.
  4. Tik Tok Touches with Movement Add movement to the Tik Tok touches to simulate game situations and boost coordination.
  5. Toe Taps Perfect your toe taps to develop quick footwork and close ball control.
  6. Toe Taps with Movement Take it up a notch by adding movement, challenging your foot speed and precision.
  7. Sole Drags Practice dragging the ball with the sole of your foot to refine ball manipulation.
  8. Sole Drags with Movement Incorporate movement to make the drill more dynamic and game-like.
