This partnership is more than symbolic. It provides technical guidance, tailored support, and a roadmap for long-term success. UEFA’s involvement ensures that CONCACAF Coaching Licenses meet international benchmarks, giving regional coaches a competitive edge.
The Pathway: From C Diploma to Pro License
The licensing journey begins with the C Diploma. This entry-level course targets grassroots coaches and introduces core principles of player development, ethics, and safety. In Ontario, for example, the C Diploma spans 75 hours and includes both in-person and online learning.
Next comes the B Diploma, designed for coaches working in competitive environments. It builds on tactical knowledge and introduces advanced planning techniques. Coaches must complete modules, submit portfolios, and engage in debrief sessions with certified developers.
