Private 1 on 1 Soccer Coaching Sessions

The best way for young soccer players to improve their skills is through specialized coaching. I create 5 and 10 week session plans, focusing on technical skills, physical gains and the daily habits of the player. This includes:

  • 1v1 attacking
  • 1v1 defending
  • 1 on 1 skill moves
  • passing and receiving technique
  • shooting / finishing technique
  • weak foot
  • quality first touch
  • turning with and without the ball
  • shielding the ball
  • speed, agility, coordination, endurance
  • physical literacy

Remember excellent soccer players must rate well in four main categories:

  1. Technical
  2. Tactical
  3. Physical
  4. Socio-Emotional

After analyzing the players’ strengths and weakness, sessions plans are developed. Younger players, 6-10, will primarily be focusing on their technical skills. Older players, 11-14 will have a fitness component added as well. 90% of the sessions are with the ball.

These sessions are ideal but not limited to soccer players between the ages of 6 and 12.

Lets get these young soccer players develop the correct habits at a young age. I have seen with older squads in my club what happens when players do not get proper training at the youngest ages. If Canada is to ever move forward in this sports we need to save our young soccer players. World Cup 2026 is on its way!
